Since 1974, San Diego and its surrounding communities have gathered for the downtown Pride Parade, raising over $2.5 million in support of equal respect and support for the Queer community. In anticipation of the Pride Parade this weekend, join us in celebrating this incredible milestone. Hillcrest Brewing Company, renowned as the world’s first gay brewery, is celebrated for its great beers and stone-fired pizzas. Owned by the same team behind Rich’s nightclub, this brewpub offers a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all to enjoy.
Gossip Grill
Owner Moe Girton opened Gossip Grill in 2009 with a clear mission in mind: to provide a safe space for women and queer folks, showing them what it feels like to “have a seat and a voice at the table.” Today, it’s one of the only women’s bars in SoCal and an essential part of the social landscape for many, serving quirky cocktails & American comfort food amid female-inspired decor.
